Name: Rowan ReynirAge: I will be 53 in July (whoo-hoo)Relationship Status: Single, but open to suggestion Sexuality/Gender Identity: Dyed in the flannel dykePreferred Pronouns: Other than "Hey, you!" She, please.Favorite Mariel Cove Character: Gabriel and Mina. Blog/Twitter/Tumblr: Blog forthcoming.Favorite lesbian/queer movie: Back in the day, I want to see my first lesbian movie, Desert of the Heart in an actual theater. This was before cell phones, tablets or the Internet. Yes, I am that old. While it is not my favorite movie per say, it was unheard of to be able to go to a theater and see lesbian characters. It was groundbreaking. That said, I loved Lianna (a Canadian film that has all but disappeared.) I also liked Mulholland Drive and I really like the L-Word. It grew on me and I became very invested in the character's story arcs.More About You: I write Roisin, Caitlin, Tatiana and Ghiera (and Mina and Stefan, their children) for Mariel Cove. I've written and published three novels and two short story collections under another name. I am an avid photographer. I have a Masters in Teaching and a Bachelors in English and Creative Writing. I've worked as an editor, a college professor and a tutor as well as a barista and a baker. I love my little book group where the women are all ten+ years older than I am and can make me laugh no matter what. I live with my dog and spend as much time with my friends as possible.
